It is with great sadness that the Durham Miners’ Association has taken the decision to cancel this years Durham Miners’ Gala which was due to be held on the second Saturday in July. Given the continuing situation with the Coronavirus Pandemic it was not felt that it was possible to guarantee the safety of everyone should the event take place. A difficult decision to make but given the circumstances the safety of those attending is the first priority. It is hoped that we can all look forward to the event taking place next year.
